Parasites: Intestinal Worms

There are a whole bunch of different intestinal worms commonly found in dogs. They contract them initially from their mother while in the womb or while nursing, and then later on by eating grass or faces or by saying hello in that way only dogs can. Roundworm, hookworms and tapeworms can all be passed to humans. The Centre for Disease Control has recommendations for controlling parasites. Your veterinarian will discuss with you the particular risk factors of your household.
