Safeguard your feline friend from harmful diseases with a vaccination plan.
Vaccines are started for kittens at 6-8 weeks of age just as their protection from their mother’s colostrum is decreasing. A second set of vaccinations is administered at 12 weeks and a third set at 16 weeks in order to ensure complete protection.
Kittens should start their immunizations at around eight weeks of age.
We recommend kittens be vaccinated monthly at 2, 3 and 4 months of age.
It is recommended that all kittens receive Fvrcp, rabies and the feline leukemia vaccine as a base of immunity. Your veterinarian will assess disease risk after that and adjust the vaccine schedule to what is best for your cat.
